In a cabview to see through the windows you need the alpha-channel. Originaly and even today many cabs
are made with only a 1 bit channel and the view through the windows looks like an hole.
Now, it's possible to have semi-transparency with a 8 bits alpha-channel to simulate the glass in the
windows. With more skills you will be able to to simulate a weathered glass, like this one.
This preliminary tutorial will show you the basic to transform an open window to a glass window.
In the first part, we will work on a normal size windows (640 X 480 pixels) and in the second part,
we will modify a greater file (1024 X 768 pixels). Later in a next version, I will show you how to
made weathered glass plus some variations.
I choose Paint Shop Pro version 7 (PSP 7) as paint program.
